John Runnels

John Runnels is a singer/songwriter based in Denver, Colorado. John has been singing as long as he can remember - even getting in trouble in elementary school for singing too much. When confronted in 2nd grade by a teacher, John said "I always have a song in my heart and sometimes it just pushes out of my mouth." 

At the age of 14 John picked up the guitar and began writing music. His performing experience began playing the streets for change on the 16th Street Mall in Denver. Street performing has always been a part of John's life; in 2014 John spent over six months playing on the streets while traveling across Europe with just a guitar and a backpack.

John is currently working on his indie folk project Morning Bear.
