Merry Christmas!

Dear Larissa,

I hope you're enjoying yourself at the end of this crazy year! So much has happened to us and to the world in 2017 - it's incredible to look back at how much has changed. I hope you're wrapped up in a blanket, drinking Gluhwein with your family and cats in the most gezellig of settings. I'm sure your raw herring is treating you well.

I couldn't figure out how to gift you specific content through Kobo, so I am going to work around it. I wanted to get you a few books:

Good Omens is a book by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman (two of my favorite authors) and is a fun fantasy-comedy that I really hope you enjoy.

Hyperion is the science fiction book series that I've talked so much about - you'll have to let me know once you get to page 80-something if you see what I was talking about.

Kobo does not have an option for gifting books, nor does it have a way for me to give you a gift card or egift. As such, I have sent the approximate amount via PayPal to Larissavdlaan@hotmail.com. If you spend this money on country music and not on the books above, I will be very upset!

It has been incredible getting to know you over the past year. You are so intelligent, caring, and giving. You are so thoughtful, and so talented. I am continuously amazed by you. What a gift it was to get to spend almost week with you between London and Brighton, cooking, cuddling, and crying together. I can't tell you how much I love the ukulele, and how much I appreciate the words and feelings you shared with me. I feel so lucky to have met you and to have you in my life.
